Among the largest of Duff Norton’s DC-powered linear actuators, MPD Series models offer a 500 lbs. capacity for lifting, lowering, and motion control, with a  750 lbs. static load limit. Acme screw designs with  adjustable internal limit switches or clutches (varies by model) provide superior performance. 12 or 24 VDC motors provide speeds up to 0.85 in/sec (22 mm/sec). Stroke lengths of 3”, 6”, 12” or 18” (76 mm, 152 mm, 304 mm, or 457 mm) are available.
